Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth

As we as a society, city, country and world try to come to terms with the death of our beloved monarch, HM Queen Elizabeth, we have been touched and grateful to receive the following message from our twinning friends at Amities Saintes Salisbury:

 

Dear Mervyn, Dear British Friends,

In this time of mourning and sadness, the Twinning Committee of Saintes with the City of Salisbury, would like to offer sincere condolences and sympathy to their British friends.

As said our President Mr Macron: "To you, Queen Elizabeth was Your Queen; to us She was The Queen. She will stay in our memory forever."
